Frequently Asked Questions

Print marks, leftover supports

Due to using resin printing there may be slight marks or leftover rods from the supports used for printing and other minor. We check all models before shipping and only let through ones with only very minor marks from supports and printing lines. If you have any issues with your models please contact us.

We may miss removing small supports, these will look like very thin cylinders and can be removed with a toothpick or plyers. Please use safety glasses if removing supports.

There may be slight visible printing lines or litttle dots from supports on your model. Most of these will be easily covered in painting but if you want a perfectly smooth surface you can use fine sandpaper. Use safety glasses and a mask when sanding resin.

Shipping breakages

We try our best to pack models safely but we cannot control the circumstances during shipping. Your model may arrive with small breakages, if so we recommend reattaching parts with superglue. If your model arrives with severe breakages please contact use and we will discuss replacement of the model. This does not apply to our discounted model section.

Are these our own designs?

Yes. We design our creatures and characters from our imagination and reference photos. For some models we cover pre-existing creatures or animals in a system, in this case we try to target creatures that only have a description with limited official art, giving people options for using them. When we cover things with pre-existing art we try to put a spin or different style to it to differentiate and give people options.

What printer and resin do you use?

As of writing, we have used 3 different printers to test and mass print our models. An Elegoo Mars 2 Pro, an Elegoo Saturn, and an Elegoo Saturn 3 Ultra. Currently all supported prints have been tested on at least one of printers, with the Saturn 3 Ultra being the main production printer.

Most models are printed with ANYCUBIC Water-wash Resin+, however some older models were printed with Elegoo standard resin and Elegoo water washable resin.

What software do you use?

Models are Created in Zbrush, Bases are created in Blender, and are then supported and sliced in Chitubox. Artwork is created in Photoshop, Stat page layouts are created in InDesign.
